We Are Perfect Beings

I'd like to believe that we are born into this world with a set of goals to learn and improve on. No, I don't believe that anyone is perfect but that we can all aim towards being the best person we can be. That may be in this lifetime, or perhaps in the next, if you believe in the next life.

We are, and can be, perfect beings. Given the chance, invest in something beyond the physical level. Invest in knowledge and skills for I do believe that it stays with us whatever form we become or evolve into. 

Welcome change. Welcome growth. Strive to be perfect beings.

Today's Checklist for Happiness

Life is simple so why do we insist on making it complicated? I found this short checklist and believe it's a good place to start towards making every day a happy day. 

New Day ... New Lessons

For me, I look at a brand new day with hope and anticipation. It's like what I always say, "Each day is a brand new day, a chance to make a difference." No matter how difficult daily challenges may sometimes seem, there's always a lesson to be learned. What's important is to face it with a positive outlook. And believe that somehow, everything will be just fine.

I totally know and understand that it is a material world and the quality of your life sometimes depends on how much financial wealth you have. Sad but true! However, not having lots of money doesn't mean you need to be depressed. Money alone can't buy you happiness.. that's a state of mind! >.<

At this time, the whole Philippine nation is celebrating her win as Miss World 2013. Megan Lynne Young posted this on her Miss World - Philippines FB Page 10 days before coronation night. I'm a big fan of hers from the time I began watching her in a TV show that became my favorite -- TV5 Misibis Bay. Then she joined Miss World Philippines and won the crown to represent the country in the Miss World 2013 competition that held its finals last 28th September 2013. I believe posts such as above show us that Megan Young is the real deal and that she's truly worthy of representing Miss World Org. even for a year. 

When have you stopped to appreciate the beauty in simple things? If you haven't been doing that lately, it's time to step back and go slow. Life is too short to be missed! ^_^

We're welcoming the Year of the Water Snake! Yes, it's the second "new year" that we're ushering in this year. This time it's the Chinese New Year based on the lunar calendar. As always, we are always full of hope at the beginning of each year. Lucky or not, whatever your stars say about you and your future, ultimately I do believe that we carve our own destiny. The stars are but our guides. Some people don't even believe in them! As for me, astrology and other signs serve as a guide, but I don't totally base all my decisions on them. I do believe that each one of us can make a difference.
